以小说而言，作者这书有这样两个缺陷：

一、人物众多但缺乏主线。东描几笔，西写几下，看似面面俱到，实际毫无重心。

二、失之于诡奇。这是当今武侠类小说的通病，整个故事写来写去就是一堆的阴谋诡计，偏偏还脱不出前辈武侠作者的窠臼，谈不上新意，更谈不上创意。
